For PARTNERS
The world we live in can be seen and shaped in many different ways. I believe that moments of attention, stillness and connection can offer the reflection that allows us to move forward. The three pillars of The Home of the Egret and the Water Dragon form the heart of that vision.
Once the idea began to take shape on paper and the wishes behind it became clear, to have a House with the potential to hold a shop, a coaching space, a small bed & breakfast and a dojo. It was not long before that place appeared. We found a house with precisely that potential: a place in which we can create with attention, grow, and build something that feels right in both form and intention.
Just three months after discovery, it became our new home. A new phase started: the development of a place where experience, quality and attention meet.
With that intention, an environment is gradually taking shape in which products do not merely serve a function, but can also contribute to atmosphere, use and meaning. A place with room for a way of living in which simplicity, beauty and attention are closely connected.
In recognition of work that carries:
a deep appreciation for the journey itself — where use, memory and personal traces become part of the object.
a quiet confidence in writing instruments made to be used, carried and kept — practical, tactile and full of character;
a refined sensitivity to material, proportion and everyday use — especially in cups and boxes that bring presence to small daily rituals.
CollaborationMakers, brands and suppliers who value quality, detail, character and sustainability. Partners who recognize that the role of a product does not end at the point of sale, but begins in the experience — shaped by context, story and use.
CollaborationThe first phase
This is centred on building the online shop and offering online coaching sessions. At the same time, work will begin on preparing the house to receive guests, both for coaching and for those seeking a place to stay, reflect and unwind. That process is connected to a number of renovations to the property and to the further development of the concept as a whole.
The concept stands for quality, attention and a clear signature of its own, and is open to partnerships that recognise the value of atmosphere, meaning and careful presentation. Brands can find their place here in their own distinct way, not as part of mass or speed, but within an environment in which presentation, meaning and coherence are shaped with care.
The concept stands for quality, attention and a clear signature of its own, and is open to partnerships that resonate with it in quality, atmosphere and intention. Brands can find their place here in their own distinct way, not as part of mass or speed, but within an environment in which presentation, meaning and coherence are shaped with care.
The aim is to lay the foundation for long-term collaboration, with mutual attention, trust and a shared vision at its centre.
I hope this introduction gives a clear sense of the intention behind the concept, the possibilities it holds, and the care with which future collaborations can take shape.
