My career, my worklife
25 year of a vocational journey
It show how what seems as varied interests, qualities and fields of work always had a clear coherence for me and have gradually become interwoven over time. The common thread running through it: a desire to connect with people and to cultivate an environment in which attention, growth and individuality are valued.
My values are freedom, authentic expression, connection, service and beauty.
My instinct and intuition are my compass. They help me find direction and work in a way that feels true — to myself and to others.
Work lifeIn the past, an important foundation for me lay in education, where I learned to connect, to shape, and to bring structure by paying close attention to what people need.
When I look back, I do not see separate chapters, but an unfolding in which each experience has added something.
In the present, I experience the value of project-based work, collaboration within a team, and bringing together content, organisation and human understanding.
In the future, I want to continue building a way of working in which experience, creativity, sensitivity and independence come together. From that movement, The Home of the Egret and the Water Dragonemerged as a natural next step.
FIELDS OF WORKA vocational journey that has moved through different fields of work, each of which has contributed to my path of development in its own way.
Education forms an important foundation within that. In addition, I have built experience in coaching and guidance, project-based work and project management, organising and support roles, interior styling, and customer-oriented service. Although these fields may seem varied at first glance, for me they come together around the same core: attention to people, a sense of context, the ability to bring structure, and shaping environments or processes in which something can come into its own.
My education and further development in the areas of teaching, coaching, interior design and project-based work have played an important role in this. They have not only given me knowledge and skills but have also helped me understand more consciously how I work, what I bring to the table, and where my strength lies.
There are moments in life when wishes and ideas come together in the right place and at the right time. Moments in which you feel present, and ready for the next step in your life.
For me, this means a place where attention and experience come together, and from which, with clear focus and joy, I feel engaged with life and with the future that lies ahead.
I am aware of how I create meaningful connections with people and cultivate environments in which I can be myself in relationship with others so we can all continue to grow.
Morning tea, it’s hot…..
